March 8-12, 2010

March 8         Last payment for Chicago Trip due tomorrow

                        Tomorrow is also a B day

Monday-

• Math- We took our math test
• Science- We started talking about plate tectonics.  I suggest checking your grade on power school before you throw away the old papers.
• Language Arts- Spelling pretest Wed. and final test Fri.  DOL test Thursday.  We will be meeting in reading groups on Friday for week 5 (the last week).  We will be having a test on Friday over folktales.

 

March 9

Tuesday-    

• Math-  Journal Page 346 due Wednesday.
• Science-  Learned about the lithosphere.  No homework
• Language Arts- Spelling pretest Wed. and final test Fri.  DOL test Thursday.  We will be meeting in reading groups on Friday for week 5.  We will have a test on Friday over folktales.

March 3         Tomorrow is crazy hair / hat day

Wednesday-  

• Math- retook a combining like terms quiz.  No homework
• Science- MSU poster and paragraph due Friday.  Study guide due Thursday. Test Friday.
• Language Arts- We took the spelling pretest.  The final test is Fri.  DOL test Thursday.  We will be meeting in reading groups on Friday for week 3.  Vocabulary and letter to the flamingoes is due Thursday.

 

March 4            Friday is slipper day!!!!!!!

Thursday-   

• Math- Had the hour to work on the study guide for our test on Monday.  The study guide MUST be done by tomorrow.
• Science- We corrected the study guide.  Test tomorrow and the MSU posters and paragraphs are due tomorrow as well.
• Language Arts- We will take the final spelling test tomorrow.  We had a change in plans today and we'll also be taking the DOL test tomorrow.  Reading groups meet tomorrow, reading month posters are due tomorrow and Mulan papers are due tomorrow.

February 26

Friday-             

• Math- Took a quiz on Combining Like Terms.  We had the rest of the hour to catch up on missing assignments.  Friday math week 18 is due Monday.
• Science- Today we were mining for chocolate chips.  No homework for the weekend, but be ready for a test next Friday.
• Language Arts- Read for week 4 of reading group.  Finish the house diagram so we can write our type 3's on Monday.
