January 17

Monday-

• Science- Explained the Jeopardy group game. No homework

· Language Arts- No spelling or DOL this week! We shared our Paper Bag Repts. and took the Hatchet Test. No homework.

January 18

Tuesday-

• Science- Had the hour to work on the Jeopardy game. If you did not complete your 10 questions you will need to do that for homework.

· Language Arts- We watched Hatchet the movie. No homework.

January 12

Wednesday-  

• Science- Watched a video and filled out a sheet on Weathering and Erosion. Use this sheet and the one about land features to study for our quiz tomorrow.
• Language Arts- Took the spelling pre-test. The final test and activity due Friday. DOL test Thursday. The kids had the whole time to work on Hatchet stuff. By the end of this week (Friday) the following activities need to be completed:

1. Read chapters 17-Epilogue in Hatchet

2. Complete Little books for chapters 17-Epilogue

3. Finish Story Elements paper

4. Fill out the elements of adventure

5. Finish Post questions

6. Paper Bag Rept.

7. As a group create new chapter titles for chapters 17-Epilogue

8. As a group complete comprehension questions for chapters 17-Epilogue

January 13

Thursday-  

• Science- We took a quiz on landforms and weathering and erosion. No homework
• Language Arts- Took the DOL test. The final test and activity due Friday. The kids had the whole time to work on Hatchet stuff. By the end of this week (Friday) the following activities need to be completed:

2. Complete Little books for chapters 17-Epilogue

January 13

Friday-

• Science- Today we made shale. If the kids did not finish the Water on Mars questions they will need to do that this weekend.

· Language Arts- I collected most Hatchet assignments today. Monday I will have the kids present their paper bag repts. We will also be taking the Hatchet test on Monday. I highly suggest studying the vocabulary cards. These will be covered on the test.
