Folktale Unit:: Today we took our unit test.
Silent Read/Book Report ~ Students are required to bring a chapter book
to ALL core classes.
Book Jacket Report: For this report, students will create a
book jacket that tells about the book they have chosen to read as
well as the book's author. Each student will be given a packet
of directions, templates included, that will explain each step in
detail. The rubric for this assignment is included in the
packet. Look it over carefully before turning in your
completed project. Please make sure that your student is
keeping up with the reading and the work. With a project this
size, it is easy to put things off until the end of the project and
end up with a low quality report as a result.
Today we are going to work on our Latin America brochures.
There is a link on my home page that will take your student to the
template. This is what we will use when creating our
brochures.

Reminder: I will give 5% extra credit on a quiz
or test if you bring in a signed note stating that you studied for
20 minutes or more.
